New Student Advisory Council
Aug. 21, 2014 - AMTA is forming a Student Advisory Council -- a group of current competitors across the country that will share students’ viewpoints on proposed rule changes and other important issues.
We expect membership on the Council will involve a commitment of about two hours monthly. The inaugural members will have wide latitude to determine how the Council operates and are encouraged to take on additional responsibilities that will help strengthen AMTA. The committee will be selected by AMTA alum Jonathan Hirsch, who competed for Claremont McKenna College, and Alicia Hawley and Barry Langford, who sit on the AMTA Board of Directors.
We are looking for a diverse group of student voices. The only requirement is that applicants must be current undergraduates at a school that competes in AMTA. Please click here to apply. The application deadline is September 15th. If you have any questions, please contact Jonathan.
