CRC Issues Guidance Memorandum and Form
Feb. 8, 2019 - The AMTA Competition Response Committee (CRC) has issued a Guidance Memorandum in advance of the 2019 AMTA competition season, along with an official CRC Complaint Form. In general, the CRC is charged with responding to in-season questions and problems and with issuing timely rule interpretations during the season. The Guidance Memorandum is intended to provide the AMTA community with clarity on the process for submitting complaints to the CRC, along with information regarding how those complaints will generally be handled. In addition, the Complaint Form is intended to assist teams in submitting complaints to the CRC insofar as it asks specific questions and guides teams through the process of both reporting and responding to CRC complaints. Obviously, AMTA hopes to not receive any complaints to the CRC, but we feel that it is equally important to provide teams notice and information regarding how these complaints are handled.
The CRC Guidance Memorandum, and a direct link to the CRC Complaint Form can be found here. All of these materials have also been placed on the Rules and Forms page (under the Resources tab above), where they will be maintained going forward for the community. For more information on what is appropriate to submit to the CRC or any general questions or concerns about the CRC, please review the above Memorandum and/or please contact Brandon Harper, the CRC Chairperson.
